This is in loving memory of my beautiful angel Josh. We will never forget you and you will forever be in our hearts.
Josh was our little surprise, not planned at all but losing him was the hardest day of our lives, he is truly missed.
So this is our story. I went to doctors on the 5th of May as i was feeling a little unwell and she asked me to lay up on the table as she wanted to check for a heartbeat but wasn't there, i was praying your little heartbeat would come pounding through sounding like that little train. Anyway she sent me on to hospital for a scan but i already knew he was gone.
Went into hospital on the 8th and gave birth to Josh on the 9th at 7:39am. I was wishing so much that he was going to come out crying, they had got it all wrong but wasn't meant to be. Afterwards i had a few complications, afterbirth wouldn't come away, lost alot of blood, going to theatre, i just started to give up, had nothing left in me, i just wanted to hold my little boy.
We had Josh's funeral on the 22nd of May, just the people who where with me when i had him attended. He had a lovely white and silver casket. Gary carried him into Halo, as i watched him carry Josh in i was so proud of him for what he was doing and i am sure Josh was too, he would be proud of both of us. As he layed Josh down i placed 6 yellow roses and one white on top of his casket. We also had Broken Strings played in the middle of the ceremony and Run at the end. It was a hard day for us but it went well and was a beautiful day, the sun was shining which i like to believe was Josh looking down on us.
We recently received his ashes which we plan to bury in our local graveyard, we are going to buy a plot which we can be placed into with him when it is our time to go.
Anyway my little baby boy, mummy and daddy have you in our thoughts always. We miss you so much and love you more and more each day. You will always have a place in our hearts.
There is also a second angel in our family now. I hope you are looking after your little brother or sister (Jellytot). We will think of you both always and forever.

God, Himself hand-picked me

And because God is so busy
With way too much to do
He said that my assignment
Was to keep close watch on you

Every time I’m thinking of you
My saddened heart still cries
But I know you are now at peace
Resting in god’s heavenly skies
The pain you had was left behind
Once you entered heaven’s door
Held in the arms of god almighty
You will never feel pain anymore
Your beautiful soul now flies freely
Reaching down from heaven to mine
Always to keep you close to me
Bonded through the passage of time
Your loving heart is remembered
It holds a special place in my heart
And I will always keep it held within
Through every day we are apart
It still hurts so much to think of you
Because I’m missing having you here
Yet I know that in the heavenly skies

We reached a fork on a quiet woodland path
One quiet afternoon on a beautiful rainbow filled day
I was unaware as we began our peaceful walk
We were on separate paths and would each go a different way.

Had I known this was to be our last walk together
As we shared a blissful morning and a cozy afternoon
Would I have planned for the day another way
Knowing that our journey together would end this soon?

But perhaps this is how it really needs to be
By not knowing it was a good day, free of pain
So I hold on to the memories of our time together
And remember you until our paths will cross again.

And had I but known how the day would go
I could have prepared for what came my way,
But it would have clouded the time with sadness
And taken away from us one last perfect day.
